The pretty fishing village of Keri Lake is located on the South Coast of the island tucked into a corner of Laganas Bay.
From the beach there is a lovely view of the small uninhabited Marathonisi island and across the bay to the Vassilikos peninsula, the golden sands of Gerakas beach.
The waterfront is dotted with traditional tavernas, shops and bars. A short drive up into the mountain brings you to Keri, a quaint old village that still has some original Venetian buildings.
