Park Hotel Athens first opened its doors in 1976 on the border of the central park of Athens, Pedion Areos (Martian Field), in a safe part of the city.
For 35 years the lovely park has been a wonderful host and marked the very identity of this leading deluxe hotel.
Now, we thought, it is time for the hotel to host the park inside.
This was the inspiration behind ourrecent renovation, which came to prove a virtual rebirth for Park Hotel Athens.
Right upon entering the spacious lobby you can actually feel and smell the park: pale tree-trunks serve as elegant pillars, amidst modern leather sofas; the canvas of scattered leaves on the ceiling gently alternates colors just like seasons do, balanced by the background of a contemporary art-wall.
This concept of urban nature, determining the further ongoing refurbishing of our rooms and suites, also reflects our philosophy.
We want our guests, business and leisure alike, to actually live here rather than just stay.

Gallo Nero bar-restaurant: The all day cafe-restaurant “Gallo Nero” on the ground floor of the PARK Hotel, opened its doors in March 2010 in a unique environment inspired by the nearby park Pedion Areos travelling you to Tuscany with its unique flavors.
The Oak Room cafe lounge: Earthy colours of brown, beige and green, comfortable seating and lighting make-up the scenery of the new Oak Room Cafe.
St' Astra bar-restaurant: Relax and enjoy your drink with Sushi/Asian finger food and the most incredible view of Athens by night!
St' Astra Blue roof garden cafe-restaurant-bar: Autumn is here and the St' Astra Blue roof garden restaurant/bar is stopping its operation till next summer.

Outdoor Swimming Pool: On the roof top (8th floor), the outdoor swimming pool offers a breathtaking view to Lycabettus Hill (summer only).
In house guests: complimentary use of swimming pool. Non in house guests with extrapment. The operation of the swimming pool in October depends on the weather conditions.
Fitness Center: Fully equipped gymnassium with hi-tech equipment. Sauna, Steambath.

Athens with Acropolis Hill and Parthenon attracts myriads of visitors every year.
Athens Park hotel is a deluxe property, located in a calm and safe part of the city, opposite the lovely park 'Mars Field' (Pedion Areos) and just steps away from the National Archaeological Museum which exhibits the biggest collection of antiquities of Prehistory to late Antiquity.
Its central position (next to Victoria underground metro station) provides easy access to all sites of interest, the Acropolis, Plaka and the historical center, Syntagma square, Lycabettus Hill, the two major shopping districts Ermou and Patision as well as all the entertainment hotspots in the center.
Airport to hotel by car: Take the 'Attiki Odos' highway to Elefsina. Keep the right lane. Follow Katehaki exit leading to Messogion Avenue and turn left towards Alexandras Ave. until the end (near Patission Street).
Airport to hotel by train (Metro): Take Line 3 'Airport –Douk. Plakentias– Monastiraki' to Monastiraki station and then change to Line 1-ISAP (Piraeus-Kifissia) with direction to Kifissia. Stop at 'Victoria' station.
Distance from 'Victoria' to the hotel: 300 metres.>
